To kick off the holiday weekend, Grand Sierra Resort is hosting their third annual Grand Fireworks Spectacular on July 2. You can relax by the resort’s pool, indulge in delicious barbecue-style food and drinks, and end the night with a breathtaking fireworks display over the Grand Bay.

For an extra dose of music during your weekend celebration, don’t miss Patriotic Pops at the Field on July 3 at 6 p.m. The Reno Philharmonic and chorus will perform all your patriotic favorites, pay tribute to the U.S. armed forces, and present recognizable pieces at the Greater Nevada Field. The evening concludes with a stunning fireworks show.

A beloved event among both locals and visitors is Star Spangled Sparks, hosted by the Nugget Casino Resort in Sparks. Head to the annual Palisades Tahoe Closing Day celebration on July 4, where you can enjoy the slopes in your most patriotic attire.

If you’re visiting South Lake Tahoe, make sure to catch Lights on the Lake, recognized as one of the top five fireworks shows in the nation. The fireworks extravaganza will begin at 9:45 p.m. on July 4 and will be visible from various vantage points across South Lake.

Even More Exciting Summer Activities Nothing says 4th of July like indulging in America’s favorite pastime at Greater Nevada Field. Catch the Reno Aces as they take the field against the Tacoma Rainiers, starting on July 4, and enjoy a spectacular fireworks show following the game.
