He gains great satisfaction in helping clients with the buying and selling process to achieve their real estate goals. The amount of repeat and referral business he does is a testimonial in itself. Meeting new and interesting people and developing relationships through real estate is something he enjoys. Prior to a career in real estate, Doug was the head golf professional at the Resort at Squaw Creek and Whitehawk Ranch Golf Club. He is still an active PGA of America member with a passion for helping our youth and supporting the game through his Truckee Tahoe Junior Golf Tour. Doug has always tried to live by his personal mantra – try to make the world a little better place every day, in your own little way, and everyone wins. A few examples are volunteering his time to several causes, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (near to Doug’s heart as his son Ethan is a Type 1 diabetic), Excellence in Education Foundation, and coaching multiple youth sports over the years. Doug’s wife Erin is his real estate partner. They have two high school-age kids, Ethan and daughter Ryan. As a family, they love enjoying the bounty of outdoor actives in the area. In the winter they can be at kid’s basketball games or making laps at Northstar or Squaw Valley. In the summer they can be seen out hiking, riding their bikes around town or playing golf. Doug enjoys the diversity and complexity of real estate. Every day and transaction is different and he will cherish the opportunity to help you find your way.
